The Loera clan and friends got together to celebrate Jesse Jr’s 7th birthday. Yes, that is a full sized jungle gym in his backyard. Jesse Sr salvaged it from a construction job… what lucky kids!

Grandpa Eddie showing Gavin the fine art of how to make fresh flour tortillas.

Pictures from on top of Beetle Rock in Sequoia National Park. The view is beautiful from way up on top of the mountains. I can only imagine how far you could have seen before the Central Valley air got so polluted.

A large portion of the Loera clan headed to Long Beach to celebrate Eddie’s birthday. He wanted to check out the Aquarium Of The Pacific with all of his grandkids. Marco and Cesar couldn’t make it but the rest of the grandkids were there and had a great time.

Connor (Turkey), Gavin (Andre Ethier), Finley (Duck), and Maddie (Minnie Mouse) hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Ladd’s house.

Even though it was pass 11pm Connor still had a lot of computer work he needed to get done before going to bed.

Connor decided to try baby cereal for the first time. I don’t think he liked it much.

The boys woke up at a decent time on Christmas morning and opened their presents. Then we hopped in the car and drove down to San Diego to spend the rest of the holiday with the Loera clan. Connor had no clue what was going on in the chaos of all the kids ripping into presents but seemed to enjoy his first Christmas just the same.

It’s never too early to get your children excited about reading. Not that my boys need any help. They read everyday and have tons of books. It also helps that their dad is a life long bookworm.
